Frequently Asked Questions

When and how will I be notified about my application?

Applicants are reviewed and evaluated based on education and experience. While we make every effort to email all applicants with their status, we may have inadvertently missed emailing you. If you have recently applied for a position and have not received an email within 1-2 weeks of the position’s close date, please email hr@ywcaclarkcounty.org. The position’s closing date is specific in the job announcement. Please make sure to check your spam box for emails from bgale@ywcaclarkcounty.org.

Applicants whose experience and education most closely match the specific job requirements will be emailed with a date and time for a phone screen. It is important that applicants read and respond to this email in order to secure their phone screen appointment.

Where can I download the application packet from?

Yes. You may download the application form here. Current job descriptions and announcements on the employment webpage are in Adobe PDF format. You must save the PDF to your hard drive before filling out the fields. Please keep in mind that most positions require a supplemental questionnaire or additional materials; incomplete applications are not considered.

If you are having difficulty downloading the file, please email hjobe@ywcaclarkcounty.org.

What is the interview process like?

Applicants who are selected to move forward with the interview process will receive an email with a date and time frame for a twenty minute phone screen. Each applicant must respond to this email in order to receive a phone screen.  Applicants who successfully complete a phone screen will be invited for one or more in-person interviews with a panel of YWCA staff.
